Public Transport?

So it's been a pretty good but very busy week. I did a lot of pretty cool things this week though, some of them for the first time ever.
What I think Coalville sounds like.
I'll maybe scan the picture in later for better quality.
Things like watching Iron man, playing portal 2, throwing a stick at someone's window to get their attention ( always wanted to do that),playing a funky new game that began with M, and going to Coalville (apparently they do have an old mine).

I also manged to work out how to catch a bus in Loughborough, because I've never caught a bus off-peak or to somewhere outside of Lobro. Dude are Lobro buses weird.
The bus stops don't have any individual information on them, so you can't tell which buses are stopping and where they are going, they only run till 9pm (7 on a Sunday I think) and you have to put your hand out to get them to stop.
I spent an hour trying to catch a bus today. Firstly I was on the wrong side of the road, the next one kindly told me which number bus to take, the next 2 went past because in London standing up and staring at a bus with intent is enough to get them to stop. Then a rather large wasp landed on my SP and I was to distracted to hail a bus. (Admittedly the bus came slightly after the wasp had just left, but I'm still blaming the wasp), the next bus was the wrong number (because I couldn't see the bus numbers until it was too late so I thought I'd just hail all the buses, and then I got the right one. It's hard to believe London transport is better than anything, but I think it's easier to use than Lobro transport. Joels gran gave me a lift back though (because I kindof missed the last bus...) which was really nice of her.

The throwing a stick was because I couldn't find my keys, so I asked a hall mate to let me in when I got back,  and gave her my number. It was only when I got outside that I realised that her having my number wasn't really going to help me get in. So I threw a stick at her window to get her to come down.

But other than that, my life is pretty crammed this week what with work (which I'm totally still doing) and other stuff too. I'm actually pretty booked up which is unusual. I'm even running out of coffee because I haven't got to the shops. It's going pretty well at the moment though, and I'm quite liking seeing loads of people, so I won't mind too much if it continues like this.

Sleepless night

So I have a fair few things to say, because I couldn't say them these past couple of days because I was working, but firstly: God is Brilliant.
I love that he totally cares about me. Today for instance, I had an online test due in midnight today and I always leave these literally right up to the last minute, but things weren't going too well this morning. Basically I didn't sleep at all last night. I was looking at my maths and getting a bit stuck when I noticed my clock said 7:xx am, and that it was bright outside. Which isn't really smart when you're planning to do an online test you're finding fairly difficult later in the day. So I went to church this morning, expecting to crash out suddenly and fall asleep somewhere when the pastor mentioned the evening service and I remembered that I really wanted to go. So to cut a long story short I was like :
"Hey God, I really want to go to evening service today but I can't if I haven't done this test and I'm not going to take the test without doing enough revision. Right now I'm looking at about 3-4 out of 8 (yes there were only 8 questions.) but I'd kindof like 6/8. Well I'd like 8/8 but 6/8 seems pretty reasonable, and I'd probably go to church on a 5/8 if it came to it. It's just that I haven't had any sleep at all so I'm probably going to crash out which will ruin everything anyway, so please help me to revise for this test, and to not need any sleep at least until after service, because I don't think anyone will mind if I fall asleep in Student Plus. I know you can totally do this, and I'm gonna try and be soo focused in these next few hours I'm not going to do anything except work. Please make this work."

So now here I am, I haven't slept in 32 hours, I finished my test well in time for evening service and got 100% in it and I don't even feel the slightest bit tired. I haven't even been drinking loads of coffee all day. Brilliant. I love God.

Other things I wanted to say but couldn't because I was working are:
Hey guys, I've just started putting up my Greek Alphabet of cool fictional stuff, but I'm still missing a few letters. If you have anything for Beta, Zeta, Epsilon or any of them really please say. Stuff like Alpha from power ranges, Lambda from Half life and mew from Pokemon. Much appreciated.

Also if I ever get a house, I really want a picture of a misty forest with the slenderman in it to put on my wall. One of those ones where you can't see him straight away, but if you're looking at the picture for a fair amount of time he suddenly jumps out at you even if you weren't looking for him. A little like this one,(couldn't put actual picture because of protection stuffs.) it's just that you can't get them anywhere. Picture shops should sell more slenderman pictures for people to put on their walls, because all the good ones are just on the web. I suppose I could print one out and frame it, but the resolution would probably end up really low. Still it would be cool.

Night time wanderings

Walking back home tonight was ace. I love the night.
There was a slight mist around so the street lights were surrounded by orbs of their orangey light, gleaming off the wet pavement to match the sparse stars gleaming above.(I'm pretty sure I saw Orion up there, but honestly who can tell anyway) I walked back along the main road, so it was never particularly dark but I think the light from the rest of the uni leaves a dim light lying around anyway but there still feels like a strong contrast between the shining path and the dark dip beside the football pitch and the small patch of trees. Their leaves constantly dropping with a soft rustle'y splat. Who knows what kind of Lovecraftian Horrors lurk there? (Well clearly there weren't any tonight anyway, but from a distance the tree's can often look like a certian Eldritch Abomination. S'not as bad as a dense forest anyway.)
A few early/late (not quite sure, it was 2am) birds were chirping, and there was the hum of the dormant gym and soft buzz of the road as I passed them but other than that it was pretty quiet.
I love this mix of light and dark, quiet and sound, natural and man made stuff. It's a sort of a shame that walking about in it is enough to cause people a bit of concern.

Also as a side note, it's not a good idea to eat loads of cake and then spin really fast on a spinney chair. Blerg. :/
