Of Teapots and Headphones

Ey-Up chooks!
I realise it's harder to blog and the suchlike now that I have work, because I usually write this stuff while I am working and thus have all the distracting ideas. Which is ok, because it's usually while I'm working on homework so it's in my own time. Having a job means that you can't write at work, and you don't really work at home (You're too tired anyway), so I don't really have any thing to write about when I can write.
Apparently I have an 'in my own time' uni essay coming up though, so this might change.

This is also sad because I don't have time to comic either (besides a few distracted doodles), and although I don't know if I'd be doing anyway because of extreme procrastination skills, I would have liked to get it down before it grew old in my mind. It was a fairly rad tale, and lots of new characters made appearances.
Maybe sometime I'll have a weekend free, but so far all my weekends have been packed with stuff (not that I'm complaining, it's cool to be doing stuff).

Not much has been going on at work. I went questing today and reaped the rewards of different coloured highlighter pens (Our stationary point only had orange, but I found one with pink and one with green), and someone gave me a cute teapot in a mug set so now everyone thinks I'm the poshest person ever. Not that they're mistaken.
Also HTC headphones are the best headphones I've ever used EVER. I thoughroghly recommend them to anyone who has the same ears as me - they're really comfy, never fall out and have great sound quality.
Really I think people should be able to try headphones before you buy them, like you can with clothes. Headphones need to fit properly, and they come in so many different shapes and sizes but you can't tell which ones are best for your ears before you buy them. Mine have been keeping me awake everyday with my rad tunes. As well as my getting to be routine morning insta-coffee's (once I get a cafetiere for work and make a Dave Strider cover for it, I will be the poshest beverage drinker in all of workplace!) and my afternoon Earl Grey (which consistently reminds me of LoBro because that's where I was introduced to it).

Eh, you know what? It's nearly one am, and I'm going to London tomorrow so I'm gonna go to bed.

Exploshuns.

I don't  know about clones, but if I have a long lost twin, I'm pretty sure they got shot in the shoulder on Friday. I can feel it.
Although as we've never met I'm not sure we'd have that sort of a connection. It all depends on how those sci-fi fantasy twin connections work. I'm pretty sure you can't feel your clones getting shot. Unless you're the clone, then you could potentially feel the original getting shot, because you would be a part of them but they wouldn't really be a part of you.
Maybe I'm a clone then, and the original me got shot. Original me must have a pretty exciting life if she got shot in the shoulder three days ago and she's still going. I bet she's in some sort of a rebellion in a parallel universe. (She'd still have to be the original  as you can't just feel parallel universe feels. )
Hopefully she'll get some medical attention soon, because I'm getting slightly tired of my shoulder hurting.

Back in this universe, I sort of gate crashed the most mental firework display yesterday.
It was a small neighbourhood display I walked past, and then walked back to and stopped at for a bit, but they seemed to be aiming at recreating the apocalypse with fireworks. They had loads of massive display size rockets, and they were going off pretty low so that the sparks would get rather close and sometimes bounce a couple of times on the pavement. Accompanied by the sticks and card, because there wasn't much wind. You had to be there. It was amazing.
Portsmouth really seems to do guy Fawkes in a big way, there have been fireworks all over since Friday.

In other news, my new work place has no dress code. However 80+% of people wear suits, and we have casual Fridays, so I have translated this dress code as wear suits (mainly because they are cool), but no shoes. I didn't think anyone would notice, but after someone complimented my socks, and one guy asked if I couldn't afford shoes, I'm starting to think maybe I should revise this translation. What do you guys think? Should I conform to this non dress code of wearing shoes?

I haven't been blogging because having a job is pretty crazy, and also I procrastinate but I'll try to keep it up when I can because I enjoy doing it.
Now excuse me, I have to make some macaroni cheese and maybe start on a new super cool cake.
