Well I technically didn't really win, because I actually failed my numerical methods exam (and thus lost the fight, but it was still really epic), but it turns out I didn't need to pass that one for some reason or something, so I'm still alive, on (the) course and headed for Portsmouth!
[I'm not sure what this means in the metaphorical universe, but I'll probably never get round to drawing it anyway.] It's not all plain sailing from here though as I still need to find accommodation and stuff, and the adventures of Ruth in Metaphorical land (That is not the title) continue as she journeys through her placement year and hopefully back to face down University once and for all in The Final Year.
Lots of crazy stuff has happened since last post, because it was so long ago. The part that is pretty in my face at the moment is that I am ill with some sort of crazy cough. It is seriously rubbish. It's just being really tired all the time because when you try to sleep you wake up coughing like every hour, and then you suddenly can't breath for a bit. (Which tends to be a little unnerving.)
Other cool things have been:
- My brothers birthday. T'was pretty cool. It involved playing a game of risk in which the fate of the whole game came down to a 1 on 1 dice roll. Both teams rolled a 6.
- Camp. Two weeks on kitchen with the bestest guys EVAR! (If I ever get round to it, you guys totally have a place in my comic.) This also involved lots of fun and bubbles, and completing one of my dreams of dressing up as a cardboard robot (with a trusty mechanic no less!).
- Making cakes, and chocolate things.
- Going to the British Library with some cool Americans.
- My Brother going to Wales as part of his mission gap year. This is cool because it's exciting and great and all, and less cool because it means he's not around any more.
- Another cousin is totally engaged! Wooooo! (I'm so excited! ヽ( ゚ヮ゚)/ )
There was probably a lot of other really cool stuff too, but I'm kind of tired so I'm going to leave off now.
Night guys.
