Ruths Guide to life 'Days': A day is defined as the period between the first time you wake up (after 00:00) untill the last time you go to sleep before waking up after the next 00:00.
Seeming as the last post was posted before I woke up (after 00:00) yesterday(/today), it still counts as yesterday. Thus I am not posting twice in one day. That would just be weird.
Yeah they may have changed it (Or so I've heard, I haven't really got around to watching my new Tom Baker Dr Who DVD quite yet.) but presumably its always good. (see prev brackets. The guy has a scarf and Jelly Babies though. How can that be not awesome? Yeah, as soon as I don't feel like I have impending deadlines I have to watch that now.) Its exiting, futuristic and at some points nicely predicatable but not always. (Oh gosh, theres Aliens here? Who'd a thunk it? ) I want to say it makes you feel happy, because I've just seen "Vampires in Venice", and next week its "Dream vs Reality". TBH I don't know why that makes me feel happy, especially the former. I mean most episodes seem to have a lot of 'Unless you are going to be a recuring character you only have a 20% survival chance' rule which I just made up.
(TV spacestations anyone? Seriously, how can anyone be happy after that ep.? Personally I find it worse than the second season finale on the downer front)
In fact, when I start to think about it, I don't even know why doctor who is that awesome. It is, but why? It generaly does the good ol' 'Hey lets have fun!- Oh no Aliens!-Oh no *insert name(s) here* died!- Hooray Dr Who won!' thing. Its not like you'd want to be in any of the episodes, because I wouldn't fancy my chances of making it 'till the end credits. Except the dream episode, that would have been Hilarious if I were in it. We'd turn up 5 years in the future and I would be a fashionable ninja hero-spy and the neighbourhood would be terrorised by velociraptors with a seemingly irrational (I should never have let Hammond near those things) hatred for right arms. Admittedly that probably wouldn't be the case, otherwise more classic dream stuff would happen in the episode, (Although this is talking from memory, as it is showing next friday) but its nice to think it would. Its not like its ever going to happen anyway.
So why do we like Dr qui? Its it the tension and suspense? The epic lines? The epic music? (Le gosh, I did not realise how much that music gets me buzzing!) The trailers, the characters, the doctor himself? Is it the fact that I literally just finished watching it? Yeah, that's the most likely answer. I always hype about stuff I just finished, but still. Doctor who is cool.
So untill next time, do your work/stay in school/have fun/give peace a chance.
