Woo. Happy new february.

So what up guys? Me? Yeah I kinda blew it on my Geometry (seriously how many times do I keep trying to write geology? Maybe I'm on the wrong course.) paper. Sorry. I was going to try and carry the revision mood over and do y'all a nice little sketch of preparing to revise if I felt like I did well, but I didn't so you don't get one. If I go down, I'm taking everyone else down with me.
I felt a bit bummed (Can I say that? They say it in those goofy awesome movies. Please don't hate me!) but a bottle of coke, ATFW and both the 'family of blood' dr who episodes later and I'm feeling much better now. Thanks for asking. If you think I'm really into Dr Who atm, your probably right, but I have good reason! It's one of the only good things on iPlayer, and I also acquired 2 DVDs over Christmas. Having loads of something really gets you into it. The Tom Baker one was pretty funny. An Evil wooden puppet from the future with the soul of pig (yeah, the soul of a pig) who hates humanity and wants to kill every one, was a pretty good idea for a villian. And those invisible laser guns were pretty efficiant. People started falling over before you even press the trigger sometimes. I also loved the way they managed to end it on such a happy note. You never really get that in Dr who. Someone's always sad to see him go, unless everyone's dead.
In this one they all went and got muffins. I'm not even sure anyone realised he was a timelord.
Anyway. I've done a David and gone on for ages about something I wasn't even going to talk about. Sorry if I'm using too many words. They sometimes put me off stuff, so I don't really like inflicting loads on other people.
Which brings me on to what I was actually going to say. I don't think it really matters what any of you think about this blog. I had a conversation, which spawned a thought about what a blog is for. I don't know why people blog, and I don't know why people read blogs. If I were you I wouldn't read this. It's not interesting to people who aren't me. Its just a load of stuff about what's in my kitchen, and currently Dr Who. Its not even funny, but that's ok because tbh I'm pretty sure this isn't written for you. Unless you're my antimatter dopple ganger (if so, please don't come near me. I don't want to have to try and kill you) or you're somehow me.
Even then, I'm not sure you would enjoy reading this. You have you're own life to live, and you should live it to the full.I know its hard, trying to be yourself when there's two of you, but we can do this.
Anyway, as far as I'm aware nigh on nobody reads this, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Its not really a good thing either, as it just means I'm wasting my time and nobody votes on the polls. (I like knowing how y'all think...) I like talking to text boxes.
So to cut a really long story long, I think its time to change the point of this blog. Many posts ago I think I said something about wanting to talk about all that crazy stuff that goes through my head. I don't think that's the case anymore. From now on the point of this blog is to write down what I want to write down in this text box. Prehaps we'll talk about some crazy stuff, maybe you'll gain a little more insight into the mind of me, (Seriously if you're trying now, give up now. I have a spider diagram and I still don't get where I'm coming from) or maybe I'll just whine about exams. You can waste your life reading about my life if you want.
Hey. If you're happy, I'm a little bit happier. Because I like it when people are happy.
I'm also pro 'starting sentances with the word because'.
Oooh, Oooh! Also, I was looking up this song which I had stuck in my head (The record Rattigan plays when he leaves Basil in the Death trap) when youtube told me that this was related [Obvious link]. You may not think this is cool, but I think these guys are very cool. It's so accurate!

[Sorry if this does not make you happy. I guess my happiness level is still a bit low, whereas I usually blog on +epic or +happy. Family of blood is one really awesome ep, but in some inexplicable way, it doesn't reach those levels of epic/happy. - next up, Blink Rvb season 2-3]

Doctor Le Qui?

I know what your (probably not) thinking. "Two posts in one day? How can this be?" but you're wrong. Its not two posts in one day, because I slept in between the two posts. That is how I say the universe works, and so that is how it works.
Ruths Guide to life 'Days': A day is defined as the period between the first time you wake up (after 00:00) untill the last time you go to sleep before waking up after the next 00:00.
Seeming as the last post was posted before I woke up (after 00:00) yesterday(/today), it still counts as yesterday. Thus I am not posting twice in one day. That would just be weird.
Back to the point. Todays topic, Doctor who is Awesome.
Yeah they may have changed it (Or so I've heard, I haven't really got around to watching my new Tom Baker Dr Who DVD quite yet.) but presumably its always good. (see prev brackets. The guy has a scarf and Jelly Babies though. How can that be not awesome? Yeah, as soon as I don't feel like I have impending deadlines I have to watch that now.) Its exiting, futuristic and at some points nicely predicatable but not always. (Oh gosh, theres Aliens here? Who'd a thunk it? ) I want to say it makes you feel happy, because I've just seen "Vampires in Venice", and next week its "Dream vs Reality". TBH I don't know why that makes me feel happy, especially the former. I mean most episodes seem to have a lot of 'Unless you are going to be a recuring character you only have a 20% survival chance' rule which I just made up.
Some episodes seem to be down right depressing.
(TV spacestations anyone? Seriously, how can anyone be happy after that ep.? Personally I find it worse than the second season finale on the downer front)
In fact, when I start to think about it, I don't even know why doctor who is that awesome. It is, but why? It generaly does the good ol' 'Hey lets have fun!- Oh no Aliens!-Oh no *insert name(s) here* died!- Hooray Dr Who won!' thing. Its not like you'd want to be in any of the episodes, because I wouldn't fancy my chances of making it 'till the end credits. Except the dream episode, that would have been Hilarious if I were in it. We'd turn up 5 years in the future and I would be a fashionable ninja hero-spy and the neighbourhood would be terrorised by velociraptors with a seemingly irrational (I should never have let Hammond near those things) hatred for right arms. Admittedly that probably wouldn't be the case, otherwise more classic dream stuff would happen in the episode, (Although this is talking from memory, as it is showing next friday) but its nice to think it would. Its not like its ever going to happen anyway.
So why do we like Dr qui? Its it the tension and suspense?  The epic lines? The epic music? (Le gosh, I did not realise how much that music gets me buzzing!) The trailers, the characters, the doctor himself? Is it the fact that I literally just finished watching it? Yeah, that's the most likely answer. I always hype about stuff I just finished, but still. Doctor who is cool.
Oooh Hey! Its tomorrow by your standards as well now! Now everyone can be happy.

So untill next time, do your work/stay in school/have fun/give peace a chance.

Spiffing day old chaps!

Today was a good day. Today was a day of doing little to no work, and meaning it.
I went shopping, I drew some picture, I ate real food - with mustard in it, and I do not feel disappointed in myself. Today was not a day of failing to achive my goals, because I started my day without the limitaions of work involved goals. My mum was right, in not trying to do so much stuff, I have achived so much more that I was before.
Also small groups was today (as its Thursday) so I saw and talked to other human people as well.* Which is good for you. We have missions week coming up in Feb, which is kindof a big thing for Cu.
I also had a bit more of an idea for my poster, I was thinking of taking a bit of a change in direction with it. Partly because I can't think of any other work related popish culture references, and partly because I was reading the TV tropes page for 'stiff upper lip'. So I was thinking of something that says idk 'Brittish' / 'never give up' sort of stuff, although I'm still open for the whole work related pop cutlure quotes.
I know no one out there like commenting on my blog, but seriously suggestions would be appreciated. What do you think of the Galaxy Quest moto? "Never give up, never surrender!"? It lacks a bit, but I'm really in need of a change. I could put some kind of moustache and monocle in the corner? Anyone?
On another point, while I was attempting to work, I ended up with a word document of fictional geniuses. Is there anything I can do with a list of fictional geniuses? I can't think of anything, but that leaves me with a useless list.
Oh and for all you lovely caring people who were dying to know, my ulcer has finally decided to leave. Yaaaay.
Edit: Also, someone who is not related to me voted on my poll -->
Thank you kind sir/madame, a shout out to you for making me happy.

*I was going to put brakets here, but they got a bit long. Then I re-wrote it so it's no longer relevant to above astrix. I used to love onepiece, but now I'm not so sure. Stuff happened, bit hero heavy, a little less funny and a lack of character to watch it for. I wrote a fair amount but that was pretty much what I said.

A boring post. Seriously.

Dude, I have so much free time and so little concentration. Darn you internet for enticing me in!
I did literally nothing yesterday, and so far I'm finding it really hard to settle down today. Stupid youtube's got me hooked again. *Angry mumblings about series'es*
And that's why I'm here. Because I am feeling really, really distractable.
NOTHING IS HAPPERNING! All I have to do is work, and that is boring. I need to go out or something.... but where?
I could go shopping, but I'm not due to shop untill wedns. Although I have been consuming more vegetables that I origneally planned, and I think I need some meat? No wait! I have food, its just all in the freezer.
Well that's me stumped. Good ol' lo-bro. I can't remember what I used to do with my free time before Christmas. Did I have free time? Did I really just do work and get distracted from work?
Man this is slightly weird. I could make cake, or walk around. Exept also I have misplaced my key-card, so once I leave the building I'll need someone else with a key to let me back in. Which is not very reliable.
Guess I better start looking for my key-card then. Joy.
Exam leave is sooooo rubbish. bleh.
